Course Details

The course is taken online, either from the comfort of your own home or at an external location such as your school or library.  Vesta will host in person sessions for large groups, such as your class or entire school.  In those sessions, the Vesta trainer will go through the process, the content, the course and finally, through your certification.

INITIAL CERTIFICATION:

The initial course takes about 60 to 90 minutes complete, which is filled with a combination of educational content and practice exams for all sections.  Once you have completed all your sections and practice exams, you will then take the final exam for certification.  The final exam has 50 multiple choice questions and requires an 80% grade for passing.  Vesta has hundreds of questions in its database, so each exam will have a unique set of questions for the final and practice exams.

After the rider has successfully passed the final exam with an 80% grade or better, they will be certified for the entire school year.  The rider will receive a certificate of passing, along with a decal with the year certified to go on their E-bike as proof to their school that they are allowed to ride on campus or are certified for safety.

YEARLY RENEWAL CERTIFICATION:

Each year the rider will need to update their certificate by going through our renewal certification.  The renewal certification is similar to the initial certification process, but more condensed and takes about 30-60 minutes to complete.  The final exam for the renewal is made up of 25 multiple choice questions and again requires an 80% or better passing grade.  The rider will receive a renewal certificate and a decal with the year of the renewal.
